WILDLIFE LAGOON AT LAKE BACALAR

Laguna Bacalar is the most beautiful lake in Mexico, and arguably one of the most beautiful in the world. The spanish definition of Bacalar literally means "the lake of seven colors".  Laguna Bacalar is the largest lake in the state of Quintana Roo extending approximately 33 miles in length and a little over a mile wide at its widest point.
