After years of exploring almost every inch of Costa Maya for beatiful beaches, I've found few hidden gems. This area of Rio Indio is one of them. This bay is just beautiful. Sandy shore and deep lots with a lagoon view behind.

Imagine watching sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the lagoon.

Please note...the "rocks" that are in the photo above are that of an old sea wall. This could be easily removed but for now serve to make a swimming pool on the edge of the ocean.

I really like this location, not only because of the excellent beach, but it's proximity to Mahahual and the neighbors in the area, too.
